What does the Bible say about money?
The Bible states that the earth and the fulness thereof belong to the LORD (Psalm 24:1 KJV), and that the silver and the gold are His (Haggai 2:8 KJV). It states that God giveth power to get wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18 KJV), and that it is required in stewards that a man be found faithful (1 Corinthians 4:2 KJV).
On work, it states that the hand of the diligent maketh rich (Proverbs 10:4 KJV). On debt, it states that the borrower is servant to the lender (Proverbs 22:7 KJV). On giving, it states that God loveth a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:7 KJV). On contentment, it states that godliness with contentment is great gain (1 Timothy 6:6 KJV).
10 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
11 If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
— Luke 16:10-11 (KJV)
